Hi, I'm Mary and welcome.
Come along and join me here as we enjoy yoga together.
After graduating from Yoga Teacher Training in 2021, I have continued learning and practicing.
My personal practice has led me to the benefits of Yoga Nidra.
I provide Yoga Nidra (yoga sleep) to women who are over committed by the needs of others.
You may feel tired, impatient or rarely make time for yourself.
Allow me to guide you with my voice.
Available online, I am motivated for you to receive, realize and believe that you deserve care, attention and rest.
A little more about me....
My yoga journey began almost three decades ago through an evening college class, then continued at my local gym. However, it wasn’t until I attended a retreat with my sister, who inspired me deeply, that I truly felt called to explore yoga further.
In early 2021, I joined Nin Yoga, and by mid-year I was enrolled in my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, which I completed later that same year. Since then, my love of learning has continued to grow. I’ve gone on to complete additional training in Yin and Restorative Yoga, as well as courses in Ayurveda, Yoga Nidra, and Crystal Singing Bowls.
Unlike many yoga teachers, I’ve been lucky to have had a respectful and happy upbringing. But life hasn’t been without its challenges. A chronic medical condition and several experiences of grief have shaped who I am and the importance of enjoying this precious life.
I’ve worked for the same company for nearly 40 years, often starting my day in the early hours of the morning. This routine would find me low in energy by early evening, until I discovered Yoga Nidra. A deeply restful practice of Yoga Nidra gave me the ability to recharge in the afternoons, making my evenings more manageable and my life more balanced.
Yoga Nidra has had a profound impact on my wellbeing, and I want to share that gift with other women. Especially those who are constantly overcommitting to others and forgetting their own needs.
I offer online Yoga Nidra to help make deep rest more accessible.
Come along and join me on my Yoga Nidra journey-a space for deep rest, renewal and reclaiming the power of pause.
Let's rest together!
What is Yoga Nidra?
Simply put, it's a horizontal meditation. That blissful space between being awake and asleep.
How long does it take to learn?
No time at all. However, your experience will differ with each practice.
Am I the right age?
Yoga Nidra is available for people of all ages.
If you're breathing, you're the right age!
My focus is on over committed women that require and deserve deep rest.
Can I get it wrong?
No!
I invite you to lie down in a quiet, comfortable place while you let my voice guide you through Yoga Nidra.
Do I need any props?
Floor space, a bed or lounge, even a comfy chair.
Optional extras: blanket, eye pillow/mask, a cushion or bolster.
Am I flexible enough?
Of course you are!
Either lie or sit down in a comfortable position.
Somewhere that is quiet, and you are able to lie or sit throughout your Yoga Nidra practice.
Do I need any experience?
Not at all.
Please come as you are while I guide you through your Yoga Nidra practice.
"Thank you for a beautiful Yoga Nidra. I've had the best sleep I've had for ages!"
